Fact: Companies know that many popular diets focus on protein. Because of this, they market many foods as being high protein foods. However, many of these foods actually have very little protein.
Don’t fall for marketing traps! Remember that your best protein sources are lean meats and poultry, seafood, low-fat dairy, soy and eggs.
Many companies today are making “protein packs” that combine meat, cheese, dried fruits and nut or crackers. Instead of buying these, create your own protein pack made of lean protein sources and vegetables. It will be cheaper and better for you!
